Powhatan County Fire Association
is the fundraising organization for the
five fire companies that provide fire
and emergency medical services
throughout Powhatan County. Along
with responding to emergency calls,
the volunteers take thousands of hours
of training, in order to provide the
highest level of service possible.
Each of your volunteers provide free
emergency services that would
otherwise cost taxpayers millions of
dollars in salaries and benefits. Along
with calls for service, volunteers
provide educational programs and
training, such as EMS and fire
suppression, to various groups and
citizens throughout Powhatan.
